Hello and welcome to my page!

Thank you for taking the time to read my first blog post. You may ask yourself, what is quality education? What does it entail? What is it that large amount of children do not have?

Some children in third world countries do not have an education at all and are not even sure how to spell their own name. This is why it is so important to provide quality education for everyone to shape young minds and provide all children with capabilities they require to become strong capable leaders. It is so important for these children to receive quality education. You may ask yourselves okay but why is this important to me?

Let me explain why, Every child deserves to have equal education and that if you take a child’s education away you may be cutting off a future president or a future scientist with the cure to cancer. Every child is special and will have a bright future if provided with the chance. Why am I interested in this topic? Because of those children in third world countries that don’t have the same chance of education as we do.

I could’ve quite as easily been one of them, my mom crossed the border with me in her belly and I was born here and because I was born inside the United States. I was privileged to have a good education and teachers who always tried to do the best for me and help me, but this is the reason why quality education is so important for me because education should not be a privilege but it should be a right because no matter what your social status may be everyone deserves a chance to have a education.

If you are a current teacher at a school you may benefit from reading this blog and here’s a little something every teacher should do. Something they should be a little more aware of is to acknowledge and address overcrowding, make school funding a priority, address the gang activity and prevent children from choosing the wrong path especially in high schools. We need more preventative programs and implement programs such as DARE and health education to prevent teen pregnancy. We cannot brush these issues under the rug, we need to address these issues. Although it seems like Im very informed of this topic I as well have some questions. My first question is why have we not tried to do something about this already? Why have we let it get worse? Another question I have is, what do schools do when certain things no longer work? Supplies are thrown out but what if instead of throwing it out we send them to third world countries who might not have it and can fix it and use it. I think that would be a great thing to do.

Well that is it for today thank you for reading my first blog post I will be back soon to update you on a second post.
